In 2013, La Dona, feeling that more could be done for the Disabled and Seniors, left her career as a manager with a National firm, to devote herself fulltime to Freedom’s endeavors. Her vision to separate and make Freedom Shuttle its own entity, resulted in vastly improved and expanded services, which includes Special Needs Adults and Children.
Overnight the fleet of Accessible Vehicles tripled. La Dona was able to fine tune her new office/dispatch staff, to also meet the needs of Doctors, Hospitals, and other Health Care Givers, simplifying billing and coding protocols.
Freedom Shuttle now rises to meet the many nuances in the Care Giving field, meeting the specific needs of each patron and other Health Care Professionals serving them.
In short, La Dona has taken a good idea and is making it Great!
